Bradenton Marauders outlast Daytona Tortugas in 13 innings
The Bradenton Marauders scored three runs in the top of the 13th inning to defeat the host Daytona Tortugas 9-6 on Wednesday night.
Stephen Alemais’ sacrifice fly provided the game-winning RBI, scoring Ty Moore, who had doubled to start the rally. Logan Ratledge later hit a two-run homer.
Mitchell Tolman had two homers, becoming the third Marauders player to hit two in a game this season. His three-run shot was part of a five-run third inning. He added a solo homer in the eighth. Yunior Montero pitched two perfect innings to earn the win, his fifth of the season.
