Marauders blow 4-run lead, fall to Cardinals
The Bradenton Marauders had a 4-0 lead slip away in a six-run sixth inning as the Palm Beach Cardinals snagged a 7-4 win on Tuesday night at LECOM Park.
The start of the game was delayed by about an hour because of rain.
The loss knocked Bradenton out of first place in the South Division’s second half standings. Designated hitter Kevin Krause crushed his eighth home run of the season leading off the fifth inning and finished 2-for-2. Catcher John Bormann had two hits, including a double.
