Hill drives in four runs in Marauders victory
Logan Hill homered and singled twice, driving in four runs and scoring twice to lead the Bradenton Marauders to an 8-4 win over the Fort Myers Miracle on Tuesday.
Kevin Krause hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning to put the Marauders ahead to stay at 5-4.
The Marauders later added single runs in the sixth, seventh and ninth innings to secure the victory.
Bradenton starter Gage Hinsz (2-4) picked up the win despite allowing four runs and six hits over six innings. Opposing starter Lachlan Wells (2-7) took the loss in the Florida State League game after a rough outing in which he allowed five runs and five hits over four innings.
The Marauders remain a half-game out of first place in the South Division with 18 games to play in the first half of the season.
