Hammerheads come back to thump Marauders

The Bradenton Marauders were unable to quell a tidal wave of hits by Jupiter Hammerheads batters in a 10-5 loss at Roger Dean Stadium on Sunday.

Bradenton’s early leads of 3-0 and 4-3 were put to rest in a six-run bottom of the fourth inning in which Jupiter surged in front for good.

Bradenton right fielder Kevin Krause had three hits and drove in two runs, and designated hitter Christian Kelley went 2-for-5 to raise his average to .319.

Marauders starter Dario Agrazal (4-2) took the loss on the mound, allowing eight hits, eight runs and two walks in 3 2/3 innings.

The loss dropped Bradenton (29-22) into a tie for first place before Palm Beach’s Sunday night game.
