BRADENTON -- Pirates pitchers and catchers are 41 days away from reporting to Pirate City in Bradenton and fans can start preparing for spring training at McKechnie Field on Jan. 23.

Single-game tickets for Pittsburgh spring training go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 23 at the McKechnie Field box office in Bradenton, through Pirates.com or by calling (877) 893-2827.

Baseline box seats are available for $29.

Spring training begins at McKechnie on Feb. 29 with the "Black & Gold" exhibition.

Grapefruit League play begins the next day against the Tigers in Lakeland before the Pirates host Detroit for the spring training home opener March 2.
