Palmetto freshman football ends season undefeated with win over North Port

Jontay Wester ran for two touchdowns and threw a touchdown pass to win the game in overtime as Palmetto beat North Port 20-14 in overtime on Wednesday.

The freshman football teams of both schools were undefeated going into the game, and Palmetto ended the season at 7-0, while North Port finished 6-1.

Kobe Mays caught Wester’s pass in overtime to win the game.
