Prep wrestling | Lakewood Ranch Mustangs competing in Louisiana tournament
BATON ROUGE, La. -- The Lakewood Ranch Mustangs wrestling team is competing this week in the Deep South Bayou Duals at the Baton Rouge Convention Center.
The Mustangs completed Monday's competition with two team wins and two team losses, defeating Archbishop Shaw High School of New Orleans and Arcadiana High School of Lafayette, La., and losing to Altus High of Oklahoma and Central Catholic High of Baton Rouge.
On Tuesday, Lakewood Ranch will compete in third-place pool completion with five matches scheduled.
Leading wrestlers so far at the tournament for the Mustangs are Hunter Reed (120 pounds), who is 4-0 after Monday's action; and Dylan Cameron (132), Luis Tremblay-Vidal (170) and Nate Lancaster (195), each at 3-1.
