Taylor leads Noles past Braden River

Ronald Taylor led the way with 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists as Southeast scored a convincing 66-52 win over county rival Braden River in boys basketball action Wednesday.

Corey Davis added 14 points and seven rebounds for the Noles, while Alex Taylor finished with nine points.

Southeast (7-3) plays yet another cross-county rivalry game Thursay, when it hosts Lakewood Ranch.

BAYSHORE 77, MANATEE 50 -- Bonna Baker poured in 18 points. while Jaylen Pauley totaled 17 points in the Bruins big win over the Canes.

Vernard Brown added 10 points for Bayshore (5-7), which visits DeSoto on Thursday.

The Bruins JV also won, 66-49.

A night earlier, Bayshore defeated Sarasota Military on Tuesday, 68-50, with Denny Dessin leading the way with 18 points, Brown adding 15 and Pauley scoring 10.
