LAKEWOOD RANCH 6, MANATEE 0 -- After blowing a two-goal lead and settling for a draw their first time against the Hurricanes in November, the Mustangs turned a two-goal halftime lead into a blowout in Bradenton. Forward Pablo Vargas led the Mustangs (8-3-1, 4-0-1 Class 5A-District 8) with a hat trick while goalkeeper Liam Bramley notched a clean sheet.

Forwards Ricky Yanez and Drew Butler and midfielder Connor Bezet also pitched in with a goal apiece against the Canes.

Ranch continues district play Thursday with a home game against Sarasota Riverview. Manatee (3-3-3, 1-2-2) has a quick turnaround for a game Tuesday in Palmetto.

BRADENTON CHRISTIAN 4, ST. PETERSBURG KESWICK CHRISTIAN 1 -- In their final game of the regular season, the Panthers cruised to a win against Keswick Christian in St. Petersburg. BCS (10-3-1, 4-3 Class 1A-District 7) has scored at least four goals in 10 of its 14 games this season and netted another impressive win against the Crusaders (0-13, 0-6 Class 1A-District 6) behind two goals by Molly Stetsma. The midfielder, who also handed out two assists, was accompanied in the scoring column by striker Maddie Jackson and midfielder Madison Allen, each of whom scored once. Bradenton Christian's stingy defensive effort was anchored by defender Madeline Valadie and striker McKenna Jackson.
