The scoop: Name your final score, because the Pirates simply outmatch winless Leesburg. The Yellow Jackets were pummeled last season and were the home to Curt Bradley before he became Braden River’s head coach. Leesburg operates a run-oriented offense but hasn't had much success with senior running back Jabari Jiles (196 rushing yards) and junior quarterback Wyatt Rector (179 rushing yards). The Pirates, ranked second in the Class 7A state poll, continue dominating defensively and running wild with Raymond Thomas (519 rushing yards) and Deshaun Fenwick (338 rushing yards). Expect more of the same.
