The scoop: The Cougars lost last year's game to the Manta Rays at home, but managed to win the right games en route to a playoff berth. Running back Bryce Williams continues producing: 149 rushing yards with three scores and a touchdown pass in last week’s victory against Largo Indian Rocks Christian. Lemon Bay scored more than seven points in a game for the first time this season last week. The Manta Rays lost their Class 5A-District 11 opener, though, 16-10 to Arcadia DeSoto County and feature a run-heavy offense. Brayden Curry ran for 115 yards on 22 carries in the loss as Lemon Bay attempted five passes.
