Talking with Miami’s KC Navarro and Dallas’s Tatum Paxley. WWE NXT in Fort Pierce; TNA in Tampa

KC Navarro, who has Miami ties, is making a mark with TNA Wrestling.

TNA Wrestling has ties with WWE’s NXT, where Tatum Paxley is the brand’s North American Champion.

TNA Wrestling is gearing for a big tour, which features Slammiversary, the company’s mega anniversary show. Also, TNA Wrestling’s Bound for Glory is in Tampa. As for NXT, it continues touring Florida with unique house shows (no TV), including one in (South Florida) Fort Pierce at the Havert L. Fenn Center.

Spent some time on video call with each to learn about their respective journeys.

TNA Wrestling’s KC Navarro

My video interview with TNA Wrestling standout KC Navarro, who is residing in Miami, where his sister, Diamante (Angel Rose), grew up to also become a talented pro wrestler.

Navarro, 26, graduated in 2017 from Metuchen High School in New Jersey. He began training in professional wrestling at age 15 at the Pro Wrestling Syndicate in Rahway, New Jersey, under the guidance of Dan Maff, Anthony Bowens and Preacher Finneus James.

Navarro wrestled the indies and then-some, competing for Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), Major League Wrestling (MLW) and briefly for All Elite Wrestling (AEW). He also wrestled for South Florida-based Coastal Championship Wrestling, the longest running indie pro wrestling company in Florida and one of the longest running in North America.

Navarro made his WWE NXT debut on the June 3, 2025 episode of NXT where he and AJ Francis interfered in the match between Mike Santana and Trick Williams by attacking Santana, helping Williams to retain his TNA World Championship.

TNA Wrestling has a solid working relationship with WWE, predominantly its NXT brand.

TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! is 9 p.m. on AMC and AMC+. iMPACT! also airs on Sportsnet 360 in Canada and TNA+ worldwide.

WWE NXT is 8 p.m. Tuesdays on The CW.

The TNA Wrestling channel can be seen 24-7 on Roku.

TNA Wrestling brings its marquee premium pay-per-view event Slammiversary to Boston on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at the Agganis Arena on the campus of Boston University.

Slammiversary will include a post-show Meet & Greet, giving fans direct access to their favorite TNA stars for autographs and photos.

TNA Wrestling is also coming to Denver, Albany, Philadelphia, Chicago, Brampton (Canada) and San Antonio from June to September 2026. TNA Wrestling’s Bound for Glory in Tampa is in October.

WWE NXT’s Tatum Paxley

My video interview with WWE NXT North American Champion Tatum Paxley, who grew up in Denton, near Dallas, and is an alum of Hebron High School in Carrollton.

A competitive cheerleader and powerlifter, Paxley signed with WWE in 2021, learning, training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.

Paxley, 29, a former NXT champion, wrestled Blake Monroe in a casket match during an NXT broadcast. Prior, Paxley battled Wendy Choo in the company’s first women’s casket match.

In her pro wrestling persona, Paxley leans toward the dark side, enjoying the unhinged character she portrays. She found herself, which resonates with the crowd.

Success is in her corner as Paxley defeated Jacy Jayne for the NXT title. After that title reign, she beat Izzi Dame for the NXT North American title, which she currently holds. Prior, she wrestled Jordynne Grace, another former powerlifter, for the TNA Knockouts title.

Paxley wrestled other talented superstars, including Asuka, Ash By Elegance, Kayden Carter, Katana Chance, Gigi Dolin, Thea Hail, Fallon Henley, Michin, Liv Morgan, Ivy Nile, Jaida Parker, Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez, Sol Ruca, Kairi Sane, Lyra Valkyria, and Zaria.

WWE NXT will be in South Florida at the Havert L. Fenn Center on Friday, May 22 in Fort Pierce. The following night in Gainesville.

NXT is 8 p.m. Tuesdays on The CW.
