Junior college baseball | SCF edges College of Central Florida in high-scoring affair

Outfielder Ricardo Rivera led State College of Florida's offensive outburst with a double, home run, three runs scored and two RBIs to help SCF hold off Central Florida for an 11-10 win in Bradenton. Rivera went 4 for 4 and was one of eight Manatees (11-5) to drive in runs. Infielder Jared Pruett was SCF's only other player with multiple RBIs.

Scott Kelly picked up the win after allowing two runs in 5 1/3 innings while striking out three. The Manatees get a day off before concluding their home-and-home with the Patriots on Wednesday in Ocala.
