JUCO baseball | State College of Florida improves to 3-1 for season

ST. PETERSBURG -- Ryan Miller went 1-for-2 with two RBIs on Sunday as State College of Florida beat Calhoun Community College 6-2 at the Walter Fuller Complex.

Colin Shrenk got the win in relief for his first decision of the season.

The Manatees got additional offensive help from Ricardo Rivera, who was 2-for-3 with an RBI and a double, and Michael Gizzi, who went 2-for-4 and had a triple.

The team's record improved to 3-1. The next game is at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Indian River State College.
