SCF men's hoops opens season with blowout win over Impact

Austin Walker scored a team-high 17 points, while Adam Geiger hit four 3-pointers in the first five minutes of the game on the way to 15 points as State College of Florida routed Impact Academy of Sarasota in Friday's season-opener, 97-53.

Harrison Hebert added 11 points including three 3-pointers, Jordan Gaskins scored 10 points, and Reshard Brown added eight points to go with a game-high 14 rebounds.

SCF (1-0) returns to action Wednesday at home with a 7 p.m. tip against Indian River State.
