State College of Florida men’s basketball wins season opener

The State College of Florida men’s basketball team opened the season with an 83-53 road victory over the Warner University JV on Wednesday night.

Andre Jackson led the Manatees with 14 points and seven assists, and Amaru Bryant contributed 11 points and nine rebounds.

Up next, SCF travels to Miami on Saturday to face Florida National University.
