SCF volleyball earns 10th victory of season

Brandi McGee had 34 assists and 12 digs, helping the State College of Florida volleyball team to a 20-25, 25-18. 25-27, 25-20, 15-12 victory Thursday against host South Florida State College in Avon Park.

Other standouts for the Manatees (10-18, 3-3 conference) included De’Aryll Green (9 kills, 8 digs, 6 blocks), Eliska Truneckova (21 kills, 21 assists, 14 digs, 9 blocks) and Jayleen Abregana (12 kills, 8 digs).

On Friday, SCF faces another Suncoast Conference test on the road with a 3 p.m. match against Pasco-Hernando State College.
