Marauders rained out

Friday night’s game between the Marauders and the Stone Crabs was postponed because of rain, the Marauders said. The game will be made up as a Saturday doubleheader, with both games to be seven innings in length.

Up next: Stephen Tarpley (5-3, 4.60) will pitch for Bradenton against Charlotte on Saturday in the first game of the doubleheader. Charlotte has not yet named its starting pitcher for the game, which will start at 4:30 p.m. The second game will be played after the first game, and the starting pitchers have not yet been named.
