Ever have trouble standing too close or too far away from the golf ball at address? Well, Rosedale Golf and Country Club head pro Brian Painter has fool-proof methods for standing the correct distance away with a driver/woods, irons or wedges in this week’s Bradenton Herald Golf Tip.

“When someone wants to breed consistency, it seems like they always revert back to trying to change their swing,” Painter said. “They’re looking for some swing thought or flaw. And your swing always ever responds to how well you stand up over it. So if you can begin to measure ball position, front and back, and distance away, then with your alignment you’re starting to get it.”
