Marauders hold off Brevard County in 11 innings

Jordan Luplow’s grounder got through the legs of Brevard County shortstop Jose Cuas in the 11th, allowing the winning run to score in Bradenton’s 6-5 victory at McKechnie Field on Sunday in Florida State League play.

Bradenton (46-40, 8-10) scored three runs in the seventh to take a 5-4 lead on Pablo Reyes’ sacrifice fly, Tito Polo’s single and a passed ball.

Brevard County (26-59, 3-14) forced extra innings when Clint Coulter, who went 5 for 6, homored with two outs and a two-strike count.

Jerrick Suiter and Polo led Bradenton’s offense with two hits.
