Marauders fall to Jupiter
Jupiter 11, Bradenton 5
John Norwood’s two-run homer highlighted Jupiter’s three-run fifth, sparking the Hammerheads to an 11-5 victory Tuesday against Bradenton at McKechnie Field in Florida State League action.
Norwood finished 3 for 5, and his homer came off Bradenton starter Jonathan Brubaker (0-2). Jupiter added a run in the sixth and four in the seven off the Bradenton bullpen.
Matt Tracy (2-2) the second of three pitchers for Jupiter (34-40) earned the win.
Kevin Kramer led Bradenton (41-32) with two hits, a run scored and an RBI.
Up next: The Marauders send right-hander Jose Regalado (2-1, 2.97) to the mound Wednesday. Jupiter has not announced a starter. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Live streaming audio will be available online at www.BradentonMarauders.com.
