Eleven pitchers combined on a four-hitter to lead the North to a 1-0 victory against the South in the 55th Florida State League All-Star game at Hammond Field on Saturday.
Adam Revenelle, the fifth pitcher for the North, earned the win with one inning or work. He walked one and struck out two.
Yorman Landa took the loss, giving up a run on two hits in his inning. Landa was the of 10 pitchers used by the South.
Bradenton Marauders pitcher Luis Heredia worked a scoreless eighth, walking one and strikiing out one. Connor Joe saw significant action at third base. He went 0 for 2 and committed an error. He also started a double play. Taylor Gushue was one of three catchers used by the South. He went 0 for 1.
The fourth Marauder selected to the All-Star game was Kevin Newman, who was promoted midweek to Double-A.
