Pittsburgh Pirates sign four more picks from 2016 draft
The Pirates continue to sign members of this year’s draft class, announcing the procuring of four picks on Saturday to go with the six that were announced Friday.
On Saturday, the Pirates anounced the signing of John Pomeroy (13th round), Adam Oller (20th), Garrett Brown (23) and Geoff Hartlieb (29th). Pomeroy, Oller and Hartlieb are right-handed collegiate pitchers. Brown is a collegiate outfielder.
The Pirates have announced the signing of 20 players from this year’s class, although Baseball America has reported the team has signed 27 members of this year’s draft class.
The players whose signings were announced Friday or Saturday.
