Boys basketball | Khadim Gueye becomes Victory Rock Prep's third Division I signee this spring
SARASOTA -- Victory Rock Prep senior Khadim Gueye officially signed his commitment to South Carolina last week, giving Victory Rock three Division I-bound basketball players from the Class of 2016
Victory Rock, which plays its home games at The Bridge Training Facility in Sarasota and houses its students at the Champions Walk Apartments in Bradenton, went 27-6 this winter playing in the Sunshine Independent Athletic Association.
Gueye, a 7-foot-1 center from Senegal, averaged 9.3 points and 9.5 rebounds per game this season.
He is considered a three-star prospect by 247sports' composite rankings, which compiles ratings from the major recruiting services to form a consensus.
Gueye joins point guard Loren Cristian Jackson, a Long Beach State commit, and post player Gorjok Gak, who is headed to Florida, as Victory Rock Prep's Division I-bound players in this class.
