Two Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Wedding Guests Accused Of Violating Unwritten Dress Code
The spotlight was firmly on Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift during their wedding ceremony, but some people are convinced at least one guest was trying to steal their thunder.
There were countless celebrities at Kelce and Swift's wedding last Friday. In fact, Simone Biles, Gigi Hadid, Jennifer Lopez, Patrick Mahomes, Emma Stone and Jason Sudeikis were just some of the guests spotted outside of Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Tori Evans, a professional dancer who performed alongside Swift in the Eras Tour, was invited to the 14-time Grammy Award winner's wedding. She wore a dress that sparked plenty of backlash on Instagram.
Although her husband said she wore a pink champagne dress, Evans was accused of wearing white to Swift's wedding. That's definitely against most dress codes for a wedding since the bride is supposed to be the only woman in white.
"Wayyyyy too close to white for a wedding yikes," one person wrote.
"Way too close to white. Way too close to bridal," a second person commented.
"If you have to explain that 'it's not white, it's pastel/cream/champagne shade],' then the color is too close to the red line," another Instagram user said.
What did Taylor Swift wear?
According to Swift's representative, Tree Paine, she wore a dress that was custom designed by Christian Dior.
"The bride and groom's wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women's, Men's and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom. This is the designer's first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry," Paine said in a statement. "Taylor & Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor's Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis' Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler."
Photos of Swift's wedding dress haven't leaked just yet, but it's only a matter of time before her fans get a first look. In the meantime, they're monitoring what every guest wore to this event.
