Giannis Antetokounmpo Makes NBA Finals Prediction
The 2026 NBA Finals are less than one week away, as the Eastern Conference champion New York Knicks will take on either the San Antonio Spurs or the Oklahoma City Thunder, beginning with Game 1 on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. ET.
The Knicks have breezed through the first three rounds of the playoffs, losing just two games and currently riding an 11-game winning streak after sweeping the Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers.
As for the Western Conference, the Spurs and Thunder will meet in Game 7 of the conference finals on Saturday to determine who will face the Knicks in the NBA Finals.
Before the Finals begin, Milwaukee Bucks two-time MVP forward Giannis Antetokounmpo was in Budapest, Hungary, for the UEFA Champions League Final, and he gave his prediction on what team he believes will take home the crown.
"I feel like the Knicks will win the whole thing," Antetokounmpo said during a live stream with content creator Marlon. "In basketball, there's like a momentum. They won like 11 in a row. And you know, the city just rallies behind them."

Antetokounmpo said that Madison Square Garden is "fire" when the Knicks are playing as well as they have been during the playoffs.
He is speaking from experience, as he knows what it takes to win the NBA Finals. Antetokounmpo led the Bucks to a title in 2021 and has been one of the best players in the league over the past decade.
The Knicks will find out who their opponent will be on Saturday, as Game 7 of the Western Conference finals between the Spurs and Thunder tips off at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.
