Region playoffs begin for Manatee basketball, soccer teams. Here’s a look at the games.
The winter sports season is winding down.
The girls’ weightlifting state meet takes place Friday and Saturday at Lakeland’s RP Funding Center, while IBT (individual bracket tournament) wrestling holds district meets for boys this week (the girls had theirs last week).
Basketball teams are set to begin regional rounds of the state playoffs this week, too. Soccer teams have regional games, as well.
So here’s a look at matchups involving Manatee County teams in this week’s Florida High School Athletic Association regional basketball and soccer action:
