How’s your swing? LPGA Tour at Bradenton Country Club offers fan competitions, prizes
When the LPGA Tour rolls into Bradenton in two weeks, fans can do more than just watch some of the top golfers in the world compete for a $1.75 million purse.
They can get involved, too.
The LPGA Drive On Championship at Bradenton Country Club is slated to have two fan experiences: a long-putt challenge and a long-drive competition.
And each will give out prizes to the winners.
Coinciding with tournament rounds from Jan. 25-28, fans can show their chops with the flatstick on the putting green or attempt to have the longest drive.
Fans sinking the long putt are entered to win special prizes, while the long drive champion gets a $500 LPGAProShop.com gift card, a news release said.

In addition, there’s the interactive fan photo booth on the way out of the tournament venue. Those snapping a selfie can get their photo instantly and will have a chance to appear in official LPGA Tour social media feeds on X, formerly Twitter, and Instagram when using the hashtag #DriveOn.
Bradenton native Nelly Korda, an Olympic gold medalist, is one of five former world No. 1 players scheduled to compete. The others to preliminary enter the tournament are: Lydia Ko, Ariya Jutanugarn, Stacy Lewis and Ruoning Yin.
A finalized full field will be announced next week.
Fans can buy tickets at SeatGeek.com. Tickets start at $30 for daily general admission, with a weekly pass costing $99. Champions Club hospitality tickets start at $225 for daily admission and $800 for a weekly pass. Military veterans receive complimentary tickets, while juniors ages 17 and younger get free admission with the purchase of an adult ticket.
The tournament coincides with Bradenton Country Club turning 100 years old in 2024. The course is one of the oldest in Manatee County and is a Donald Ross design.
