USF adds another ACC opponent to football schedule
For the second time in less than a week, the University of South Florida announced a home-and-home football series with an Atlantic Coast Conference team.
On Monday, USF said it will play North Carolina State in 2021 in Raleigh, with the Wolfpack heading to Tampa in 2024.
The news came four days after USF announced a three-game series with former conference rival Louisville, which now calls the ACC home. The Bulls and Cardinals will play in Louisville in 2022 and 2026, and in Tampa in 2024.

“Bulls football is sustaining a run of tremendous success and we will continue to seek exciting, top-level opponents to challenge during the non-conference season and bring to Raymond James Stadium,” USF athletic director Mark Harlan said in a statement.
In addition to N.C. State and Louisville, USF also will face Power Five programs Georgia Tech (2018 and 2019), Illinois (2018), Wisconsin (2019) and Texas (2020, 2022, 2024) during the next seven seasons.
The Bulls are 1-2 all-time against N.C. State, with the win a 41-10 rout of the Wolfpack in Raleigh in 2008.
