FSA Hall of Fame inductions taking place

Tuesday is the second day of the 2018 Florida Shuffleboard Association State-Sponsored Singles, FL P-16 at Sebring , M/L, Walking/Non-Walking. Tuesday night is the 58th FSA Hall of Fame Banquet and Induction Ceremony for new members. Five persons will be eligible.

Our own Nancy Sclafani, member of Bradenton Shuffle Club and formerly of New York City, our own keeper of records here in the Southwest Coast District, will be installed in absentia because of a family illness.

Dave Kudro, also a member of the Bradenton Shuffle Club, currently serving as president of the FSA, has accumulated more than 200 points and will be installed as a player. A retired veteran of the U.S. Postal Service, Dave has played for years in the Southwest Coast District and plays very, very well indeed.

Linda Marshman and Glenna Earle, both of the Central District, and both of whose husbands are also top shufflers, will be installed as players.

Tara Goldman of the Southeast Coast District also has earned the 200 lifetime points as a pro and will be inducted as well. Tara’s husband Jay Goldman is also well on his way as a strong player.

Landy Adkins of the Southern District is a past president and will be given presidential status. Adkins was installed as a player in 2011. She and her husband, George, worked together for many years in both Florida and Ohio to advance the cause of shuffleboard.
