Bradenton Christian sweeps Saint Stephen’s in district volleyball semifinal

The Bradenton Christian School Panthers volleyball team defeated rival Saint Stephen’s on Tuesday in the district tournament semifinal match 3-0 by scores of 25-18, 25-18, 25-13.

Standouts players for the Panthers were: Madison Allen (seven kills, 24 digs); Bailey Sikkema (five kills, seven digs); Hannah Wiers (five kills, three aces); Emma Laade (seven kills, six digs); and Emily Eurice (22 assists, 14 digs).

BCS will play for district championship at home at 7 p.m. Thursday.
