Prep roundup: Gulf Coast HEAT, Bradenton Christian win preseason volleyball matches

The Gulf Coast HEAT won two tight games to finish 2-0 at the four-team preseason classic at Bayshore High on Thursday.

The HEAT defeated the host Bruins 25-23, 25-27, 15-9 in their first game, then outlasted Southeast 18-25, 25-10, 19-17.

In other action, Bayshore defeated Palmetto 25-17, 25-18, and Southeast also beat Palmetto 25-14, 25-19.

▪ Bradenton Christian defeated Cambridge Christian 26-24, 25-14 in a preseason volleyball match.
