Tim Tebow delivers special message to a fan’s grandma

In the latest of his off-field exploits, former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow made yet another person’s day.

While signing autographs ahead of a game, a fan who goes by Danny Terp on Twitter asked Tebow to give a shout-out to his grandmother, Miss Margaret.

“What’s up Miss Margaret?” he answered with a smile as he looked up from penning a ball. “I hope you’re having a great day. God bless.”

When Miss Margaret, who according to her grandson had a stroke, saw the video, her face said it all.

“That’s something,” she said, “to hear him say your name.”

Tebow was also in the news recently for greeting an autistic boy ahead of an at-bat that resulted in a three-run homer.

Tebow’s baseball career, meanwhile, continues to tumble. The member of the St. Lucie Mets is hitting .118 with five RBIs in his last 10 games. But that didn’t matter to Miss Margaret and her open-mouth smile.
