Krause ignites 4-run 7th that lifts Marauders

Kevin Krause scored on a wild pitch in the eighth inning, leading the Bradenton Marauders to a 7-3 win over the Dunedin Blue Jays in a Florida state League game at LECOM Park on Thursday.

The play started the scoring in a four-run inning and gave the Marauders a 4-3 lead. Later in the inning, Casey Hughston scored on an error and Mitchell Tolman hit a two-run single in the inning.

Tolman doubled and singled four times, driving in two runs for Bradenton.

The Marauders scored three in the third to give starter Mitch Keller, who worked only four innings, a 3-0 lead. However, Dunedin scored twice in the fifth and once in the seventh to tie the game.

Bret Helton (4-1) got the win in relief while Kirby Snead (0-1) took the loss in the Florida State League game.

Bradenton outhit Dunedin 13-6.
