Proper chin turn for a better, powerful backswing

New technology is often a quick remedy for driving woes, but Bradenton Country Club head golf professional Brian Lake has a better tip than that: Turning your chin in the proper way for a fuller turn.

That will create better power and more consistent golf shots.

“Most people want to get their head down, and their shoulder gets blocked,” Lake said. “So you can’t finish your backswing. So by getting your chin up, you clear room for a bigger shoulder turn.”
