Braden River rising senior RB Deshaun Fenwick to early enroll at South Carolina
Braden River High running back Deshaun Fenwick announced on Twitter that he’s early enrolling to the University of South Carolina in January.
Fenwick, who also plays slot receiver in the Pirates’ vaunted offense, committed to the Gamecocks on May 3 and played last Friday’s spring game in front of South Carolina running backs coach Bobby Bentley. He chose South Carolina over nine other schools, including Ole Miss, Missouri, Georgia, Boston College, Iowa State, South Florida, Central Florida, Ohio and Central Michigan.

Ohio was the first to offer Fenwick, doing so following his junior season last fall. He’s among three rising seniors at Braden River with multiple Division I offers. The other two are defensive back Tyrone Collins, who plans on announcing his top five in June, and defensive end Taylor Upshaw.
