No announcement has been made by the league or the team. The Lightning last hosted the All-Star Game in 1999.
The NHL recently announced that its players would not participate in the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeonchang, South Korea.
Scheduling an All-Star Game would end thoughts that the league and the International Olympic Committee could strike a deal to send players to the Winter Games.
