Ceremonial opening held for 3,500-seat stadium at Lakewood Ranch

Schroeder-Manatee Ranch, developer of Lakewood Ranch, held an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday evening to officially open the new 3,500-seat stadium at Premier Sports Campus.

The stadium, complete with press box, concessions and restrooms, will host the U.S. Australian Football League’s (USAFL) national championships for the first time Saturday and Sunday.

The event is free and open to the public. Parking is free. The stadium is located at 5895 Post Blvd.
