Targeted business start-up aid
What can be done to help increase the success of families in our community? One of the best ways is to grow family income. That sets in motion child school success, improved health, civic engagement and so much more.
Here at Suncoast Community Capital, we take very seriously the job of helping people improve their economic life. One of the ways to do that is by owning a business, even a very small one usually called a micro-business.
That’s why we’re honored to partner with Manatee County in delivering business start-up assistance for people who live in or want to start a business in the Midtown Manatee and Manatee Avenue West areas. Expert instruction will begin Sept. 1 and continue for four straight Thursday evenings.
There is no cost to the participant. All instruction will be at Suncoast Community Capital offices at 302 Manatee Ave. E., third floor, 6-9 p.m. Instruction will focus on developing business concepts, business and financial planning and the keys to successful business operation.
Those interested should call SCC at 941-744-2666, Ext 4.
