HUD residents support managers
This letter is in response to Donna Sprang’s July 29 letter regarding bullying of residents at the Palmetto HUD building where she resides. Management has provided written instructions on how to deal with and handle these complaints that she has made.
These bulletins were sent to each and every resident both prior to and subsequent to her statement that “management does not want to get involved.” As you can tell, this is an outright lie. Management, however, cannot nor will they fight a battle that you begin.
This is a good building, with good management and respectful residents. To say that we are bullies, etc. as stated in her letter, is not the general consensus of the residents.
We are 53 females and 17 males, or a 3-1 ratio, that pretty much live in harmony on a daily basis. A brief survey by management has proven that the greatest number of us are not bullied or feel any anger issues. Remember, when you point a finger, you have three pointing back at yourself.
No one here perceives that the handicapped cannot help themselves. Many of us try to help each other; why not participate in that fashion rather than being victimized?
