I am writing in response to a July 24 letter to the editor, penned by a Ms. Doris Sutliff, titled “GOP’s vilifying of Clinton perverse.”

You state, “There is nothing that the GOP likes less than a woman wanting power.” The truth is no one wants a woman, or man, who will do or say anything to gain power, put themselves above the people and the law, put our national security at risk, flaunt the national election laws with a straw-man foundation, accept money from corrupt people and foreign powers, and woefully fail in their duties as a secretary of state, in any position of power!

You assert that Republicans “start rumors and lies.” I believe it is that you have chosen to ignore the truth; for a very great many of what you may consider rumors and lies are uncomfortable truths.

If you saw the speech of the grieving mother of Sean Smith, who died in Benghazi, you would recognize who the prevaricator is. She was lied to, as all Americans were by this administration and by Clinton.

If you would pay attention to the litany of spurious deeds of this woman, beginning with the Rose Law Firm billing records, to the character assassination of dissenters, to the failed foreign policy of her State Department, to her elitist circle of friends, her coziness with Wall Street, her far left progressive posture, her ability to constantly deny the truth, and her elitist ego, you should awaken to the true nature of this woman.

That greed for power has given us gamesmanship instead of governance and people who are willing to sell their souls for a position of power, who ignore the will of the people and act only to enrich themselves.
