On tombstone: No more hearing GOP lies

Search online for “funny tombstone epitaphs” and you’ll find a number of hilarious messages people have left behind for future generations to ponder. One of my favorites is, “I told you I was sick!”

For years I’ve waffled about my own parting shot, but watching the 2016 Republican National Convention has made the choice clear. Speaker after speaker told me how horrible the last eight years have been, how dangerous the next four would be under another Democratic president, that Trump is unifying the GOP and how his policies will save us from death and destruction.

Hearing all the hatred, divisiveness and negativity in that incredible vitriol, most of which was completely fabricated and unsubstantiated, has determined my epitaph: “At least I won’t have to listen to any more Republican bull...”
