Lies against Obama from fear peddlers

Since the day after Obama was elected, the Republicans have been out to discredit the president. They do this mostly by making up lies about him and the sad part is that a lot of people actually believe this stuff.

The following is a brief list of some of the most outrages lies, all of which were discredited by FactCheck.org as outright lies. “Obama will take your guns away,” “Obama will make himself a dictator,” “The UN will take over our country,” “Obama will set up death panels to control your health care,” “Obama will send people into FEMA death camps,” “Obama will make us follow Sharia law,” and, my favorite, “Obama will send in troops to take over Texas.”

You do realize that none of this is true and never will be but it should make you angry because you have been manipulated. These lies were told for the sole purpose of turning Americans against other Americans, typically for some selfish political gain or worse for radio or television ratings, a.k.a. money.

Think about the last eight years and all the lies you have been told. Democrats don’t want your guns, let the UN run the country, don’t want to put you into death camps, make you Muslims or any other nonsense.

Stop letting yourselves be manipulated by the hate and fear peddlers. You are better than that.
