GOP stuck on losing path
No sooner than 48 hours and the Republicans set up their first committee to, again, beat a dead horse. They will abuse the heads of the FBI and the Justice Department on an issue that has been put to bed. They did the same thing by trying to kill the Affordable Care Act, no less than 15 times, to no avail. The Supreme Court laid that to rest on two separate occasions.
What is it the Republicans do not understand about biting their tongues on useless issues so they can garner, at least, some votes from the other major voting blocks in this upcoming election? There are no more far right wing, Tea Party, white male evangelic voters left out there to obtain, the Republicans have them all. Remember: minorities, white females and white males each carry one third of the voting blocks. You do the math and see what you come up with.
You may not like this part, but in the history of this country no one who was nominated to carry the banner for a major political party has ever and will never be indicted for any crime less than treason or out-right murder.
Look, I have voted for a Libertarian candidate since 1988, when Ron Paul ran. I will continue to vote Libertarian until such time either major political party nominates a candidate who exceeds my expectations: compassion for their constituents, a certain diplomatic acumen, basic human understanding and at least show they are smarter than the average bear. I certainly do not wish 16 years in a row of either political party anymore than the rest of you.
So why is it the Republicans do not wish to occupy the White House for the third major election in a row? Why can’t they recognize that pursuing certain useless issues score no points for their side and can only help their opponents? The Democrats must be salivating in their back rooms, saying “Thank you, Lord” for those confused Republicans who can’t read or completely misinterpret voting polls.
