Senators as victims would OK gun controls
Question: What would it take to get the Republicans in the Senate a reason to vote on any gun control legislation?
Answer: A nut with an AK-47, loaded with a magazine of 50 bullets, storming the Senate floor and taking out one or more senators.
Before the SWAT team can get to the gunman, Mitch McConnell would have called the Senate to order and they would be voting on gun legislation that hasn’t even been written yet! It certainly makes a difference when it’s in your own backyard.
