Thanks to Herald photog for artistry

I am so irritated with Herald photographer Grant Jefferies. How dare he retire and deprive us, me, of his stunning art-in-photos and his variously solemn or hilarious captions of those photos?

I have cut out every one of his photographs of birds and mailed them to an artist friend, who is too backward to have a computer, so that she can capture them in watercolor, like the phenomenal osprey in flight carrying a fish.

Thank you, Mr. Jefferies, for many years of enjoyment of your talent.
