Hillary Clinton is the Democratic Party’s nominee for president. She won more primaries, more delegates, and got more total votes than Bernie Sanders. She ran a good campaign and deserved to win.

I find it perplexing that some Bernie supporters are calling the system “rigged.” How so? It seems to me that the person who got the most votes won.

I voted for Bernie Sanders in the primary. I like him. But I now wholeheartedly support Hillary. She’s eminently qualified to be president of the United States. Her election will be historic.

Bernie raised some important issues, but now it’s time to unify behind the only person who is fit to serve as our next president. I urge all Democrats, independents, and moderate Republicans to support Hillary Clinton.
