Day of prayer makes us great
Ask anyone to name the day that became an annual holiday in 1952. Probably only a small number of people would answer that “the first Thursday in May is an annual holiday.” That answer is correct. It was first started in 1775. In 1988, the first Thursday in May was decided upon.
Whatever your faith, let’s all try to remember that prayer is so needed in our world today.
I wrote this letter because I was bothered by how little attention was given to this special “Day of Prayer” by the media this year. To “make America great again,” why not start with prayer? It works!
