Nation failing veterans on care
Today we celebrate Memorial Day to honor those who have given their all and those who have served recently and those who are serving now. They have done this for the love of this country and the freedom that we take for granted.
A few days ago I watched a program and they were talking about the poor medical treatment many of those receive from the government. For many of us, it does not make sense that we are giving billions of dollars to countries that would like to see us destroyed but fail to meet the needs that are far more important in our own country.
I know some veterans will say they have received good care and I am sure that is true, but that should not be for some but each one.
