The death of the Republican Party

This is the third time in eight years the Republican Party has been trying to occupy the White House to no avail. Many people are mistakenly blaming “The Donald.” Sorry, that is not good enough. The question you must ask is why millions of people, in droves, would support such an incompetent candidate in the first place? A candidate who has zero credentials to run the USA or even come close to being a world leader? Please consider the following and then determine who is ultimately to blame for the current fiasco.

The Republican Party has been taken over by a minority block (Tea Party), who have completely stepped out of the mainstream from where this country should be heading. The real tragedy, of all these recent missteps, is that the majority of the stalwart Republican Party regulars stood by, said nothing and watched this fiasco happen. The new Republican Congress made it very clear, the day President Obama was inaugurated, that not one piece of legislation would get past them if they could help it.

Google the exact words spoken by Sen. Mitch McConnell on Jan. 20, 2009. From that day until this moment, we have experienced the biggest do nothing Congress in U.S. history. The electorate are sick and tired of this business as usual and have been waiting for a savior like “The Donald” to rescue them from the quagmire we call Congress.

The Democratic Party will devastate the Republican nominee, Donald Trump, during upcoming debates and certainly in November at the ballot box. Donald Trump is like an empty match box and will collapse as soon as the outer, tougher shell has been removed and exposes the remaining uninformed flimsy inner container. Don’t blame “The Donald” since he courageously stepped up when we cried out, help!
